2/01/02 - One of the most exciting bit's of news for 2002 comes from Space for Music's hometown of Nashville, TN. 84 year old inventor and middle Tennessee native, Herman P. Anderson has invented the first 100% Hydrogen fueled automobile. It is actually a retrofit that will work on most any car. A hydrogen spark plug and a new pressurized tank to hold the hydrogen. He meets with President Bush on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the White House. Let's hope Bush goes for the concept. It can help save the planet! We will keep you posted on this news column.
2/01/02 - SPACECRAFT will be performing on February 8 at Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral in Lexington, KY as part of their new Cathedral concert series. The Cathedral is located at 166 Market Street, the corner of Market and Church streets. The concert starts at 7:30; tickets will be $12 at the door. This will be the full-blown SPACECRAFT with lights, kaleidoscopic projections, and cool great-sounding round speakers with sound by Rob McClain of Nashville. Video projected will include work by Dave Turner of Nashville and Matthew Florez of Lexington, KY. Light artistry is provided by the amazing Remy Simpson of Star Light and Magic. The line-up for SPACECRAFT this time will include John Rose and Diane Timmons of Lexington and Giles and Deirdre Reaves and Tony Gerber of Nashville. Diane and Deirdre will be performing some of their new Space Diva material. We hope to see you there...it should be beautiful to see the Cathedral lit up in a new way.
